Description of CPTI

Cityland Pasong Tamo Inc. Condominium or CPTI  is a mixed-use condominium building of 14 floors, constructed by CITYLAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, at Calle Estacion, Barangay Pio Del Pilar in the City of Makati, Philippines, near the Philippine National Railway (PNR) Station and Don Bosco Technical Institute at Arnaiz Avenue (formerly Pasay Road). It is also a stone's throw away from Osmena Highway or the South Super Highway. 

This building is composed of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom residential units, totalling 498 units. It also houses 61 office units and 118 commercial units. As designed, there are 147 parking units.

Meralco supplies the power requirement of the building with a Generator set on standby in case of power failure. Water is from Manila Water System backed up by an overhead tank.

This building is provided with 2 elevators, has a viewing deck, swimming pool and gym facilities. A children's playground is also available at the roof deck, where residents can relax and breath fresh air too.

CPTI is supported by agency-supplied security guards, providing 24-hour security, aided by 96 CCTV cameras scattered around strategic areas within the building.

Being fire safety conscious, CPTI has fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers at every unit, and emergency lights strategically located for safety reasons.

An efficient waste collection system is in place, where garbage are picked-up from all units, three times a day, at fixed schedules per floor.

Contracts with Pest Control and Elevator Maintenance are all in place for faster reaction time in case of problems concerning those areas.

All of the above (plus more) are being managed by a seasoned Building Administrator who reports directly to the Board of Directors. Under him are three maintenance crews, one office staff, one billing clerk, one cashier and one accounting staff, composing the administrative staff. The BOD members also hold key official functions to aid in the effective and efficient maintenance of CPTI.

History of CPTI

  • Pasong Tamo Tower I construction

    In January 17, 1995, Cityland Development Corporation (CDC) started the idea of constructing a mixed-use condominium building along Calle Estacion, to be named PASONG TAMO TOWER I. The building was constructed based on the plans and specifications of Nicolas, Carranceja, Balce - Architects.

  • Change of name to City Square Pasong Tamo Inc.

    The name PASONG TAMO TOWER I was short lived because on May 25, 1995, the name was changed to CITY SQUARE PASONG TAMO, INC. by CDC.

  • Amendment to current name

    On January 21, 1997, the first set of Board of Directors amended  the name CITY SQUARE to CITYLAND, thus adopting CITYLAND PASONG TAMO, INC. or CPTI as its new (and current) name.

  • The Board of Directors

    The first members of the Board of Directors of CPTI were as follows:

    The Security and Exchange approved the change in name and recognized the first set of the Board of Directors last March 6, 1997,
    earmarking the take-over of the CPTI Management from the Cityland Development Corporation or CDC, the Developer.
